Family Dollar is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with day-to-day store activities, help customers, and ensure merchandise is stocked and displays are maintained.

• Prior store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor; maintain seasonal displays.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Assist in payroll, scheduling, cash handling, and loss prevention.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked store areas and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Support Store Manager in supervising, training, and developing Store Associates.
• Uphold safety guidelines and company policies; foster a positive and respectful environment.
