Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development in a fast-paced retail environment. You will help with daily activities, organize merchandise from delivery to floor, and ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming store for customers and staff.

The role involves assisting with payroll, scheduling, and loss prevention, while supervising Store Associates and maintaining promotional displays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Retail management experience in grocery or drug store is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store activities and operations.
• Provide friendly, helpful customer service and address questions.
• Organize merchandise from delivery to stockroom to floor.
• Open and close procedures as needed.
• Assist with payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits.
• Maintain clean, safe, and presentable store areas.
• Support training and development of Store Associates.
