Family Dollar is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, customer service, and team development in a fast-paced retail environment. You will help with merchandising, scheduling, and loss prevention while upholding company standards.

The role emphasizes collaboration, safety, and positive interactions with customers and staff. Part-time availability is requested, with potential for additional responsibilities as needed.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and decision-making skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays for optimal impact.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged items, and payroll/scheduling tasks.
• Keep sales floor and stockroom organized to company standards.
• Protect and secure store assets including cash.
• Ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures by all staff.
• Support Store Manager in training and developing Store Associates.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful store environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
