Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help oversee store operations, customer service and team development.

You will assist with day-to-day store activities, organize and transfer merchandise, supervise associates, and support payroll, scheduling and cash handling while promoting safety and policy adherence. The role emphasizes a positive, high-energy environment and strong customer service. This is a part-time position in Aynor, SC.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Support payroll, scheduling, cash handling, and loss prevention.
• Maintain store cleanliness and well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
• Assist in supervising, training, and developing Store Associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
