Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will help organize merchandise, supervise associates, and ensure security of store assets while maintaining a clean, safe shopping environment.

The role requires strong communication and organizational skills, with prior store management experience preferred. This position offers a part-time/full-time opportunity depending on store needs and may involve weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets operational directives and merchandise layouts.
• Previous store management experience in retail or grocery preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily store operations and staff development.
• Support customer service and address questions or concerns.
• Organize merchandise and maintain seasonal displays across sales floor and stockroom.
• Complete opening/closing procedures and implement corporate directives.
• Maintain store cleanliness and assets, including cash handling and loss prevention.
