FirstCash Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Retail Assistant Store Manager in Austin, TX. You will partner with the Store Manager to lead a team, manage daily operations, recruit talent, and drive customer satisfaction while maintaining store profitability.

The role offers an hourly wage with commission based on productivity and a performance bonus. Expect a dynamic, fast-paced environment with jewelry, tools, electronics, and more, including firearms in eligible locations.

Qualifications

• Must be willing and able to perform duties for extended periods, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Must be willing and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise others.
• Ability to work with firearms and to become firearms certified.
• Must have a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Assistant Store Managers will work 40+ hours a week.
• Computer literate and able to operate Point-of-Sale (POS) systems.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate a customer-centric environment by engaging customers professionally and addressing issues.
• Monitor and assist in training Pawnbrokers to meet FirstCash standards.
• Recruit top talent by sourcing candidates through company channels.
• Open and close the store, count cash drawers and merchandise, protect assets.
• Ensure asset protection through inventory control and documentation.
• Manage inventory, loans, merchandising and store systems.
• Evaluate financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal setting.
• Maintain operating standards to meet FirstCash requirements.
• Monitor loan qualification and buying processes for value and integrity.
• Keep staff trained and aligned with store mission; communicate clearly.
