FirstCash Holdings, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager at our Austin-area stores. The role supports the Store Manager to run daily operations, develop staff, and deliver excellent customer service while promoting a positive store environment.

Compensation includes hourly pay $16–$20 plus commission on productivity and a store-performance bonus. Benefits include health coverage, earned wage access, paid vacation, tuition reimbursement, 401(k) and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Must be willing and able to perform duties incl. standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise others.
• Must be able to work with firearms and to become firearms certified.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Assistant Store Managers will work 40+ hours a week.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate a customer-centric environment by engaging customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Monitor and assist in the training of Pawnbrokers to meet FirstCash standards.
• Recruit top talent by sourcing candidates through Company channels.
• Open and close the store, including cash drawer counts and asset protection steps.
• Ensure asset protection through inventory control and proper documentation.
• Administer store processes including inventory, loans, merchandising, and reporting.
• Evaluate financial statements and drive profitability through goal setting.
• Ensure operating standards meet FirstCash standards.
• Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to maintain value and integrity.
• Complete assigned tasks and training for self-development.
• Communicate clearly to ensure understanding of mission and objectives.
• Remain up-to-date on product knowledge.
