Yesway is seeking an assistant manager to support the Store Manager in everyday operations at a retail location. You will train and develop team members, schedule shifts, handle customer concerns, and ensure compliance with all regulations while maintaining accurate stock and merchandising.

You will also monitor daily profits, shrink, and related store metrics. The role emphasizes guest hospitality, audits, and ensuring smooth end-of-day processes across departments, including car wash

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Certification testing must be completed upon employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager with training and development of employees and store responsibilities.
• Schedule employees for shifts.
• Resolve store issues including customer concerns.
• Ensure compliance with required regulations.
• Assist with audits and proper placement and stocking of merchandise.
• Oversee guest transactions to ensure timely hospitality.
• Monitor profits through end of day procedures, shrink indicators, lottery, stock audits, vendors, car wash operations and retail waste.
