Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Richmond, California to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with day-to-day activities, help merchandise flow from delivery to floor, and ensure store cleanliness and safety.

This role requires strong communication and a commitment to customer service. The position is full-time with responsibilities including supervising and training Store Associates, processing payroll/scheduling, and maintaining

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Strong customer service, organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Follow directives and company policies related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
