Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in Daly City, CA seeks an Assistant Store Manager to help oversee store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily activities, merchandising, and support the Store Manager in achieving sales goals.

You will train and supervise store associates, ensure compliance with policies, handle opening/closing procedures, protect assets, and keep the store clean and well-stocked. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication.
• Experience in retail or store operations is preferred.
• Ability to train and develop store staff and manage daily activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain store areas, including floor and stockroom, to company standards.
• Support Asset protection and loss prevention measures.
