Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical store duties.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor with merchandise.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain fixtures and displays and ensure promotional effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record keeping, and loss prevention.
• Keep store areas clean and organized to company standards.
• Protect and secure store assets including cash.
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines, and ensure staff follow procedures.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Foster a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness across the store, including restrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
