Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, help customers, organize merchandise, and participate in payroll and scheduling tasks while maintaining a safe, friendly environment.

The role emphasizes leadership of Store Associates, adherence to policies, and maintaining a well-stocked, clean store aligned with company standards.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and frequent walking, standing, bending.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner; address questions or concerns.
• Organize merchandise and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Help in payroll, scheduling, and cash handling; support loss prevention.
