Bath & Body Works is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to partner with the Store Manager in developing outstanding associates, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and driving growth across the store. Our store leaders are frontline champions, combining retail savvy with brand ambassadorship to connect with customers daily.

You will lead by example, coaching teams, maintaining product knowledge, and aligning operations with brand standards to achieve sales and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering sales, customer experience, and operational results in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in a manager role, preferably in a retail setting.
• Thrives in a customer-first based retail environment.
• Ability to foster a customer-focused selling culture.
• Effective communication skills and adaptability.
• Ability to provide in-the-moment coaching to associates.
• Availability for peak days and times, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Attract, hire, develop, inspire, and retain top talent.
• Set performance expectations and accountability with all associates.
• Lead as Manager on Duty when scheduled to address customer experience, vendor relations, or maintenance issues.
• Partner with Sales Leadership Team to support action plans and execute operational activities.
• Implement floorset direction to optimize the business and showcase the product story.
• Perform opening and closing routines including banking, receipts, and directives.
• Set daily direction for the shift when associates arrive.
• Provide individual and team performance feedback to managers.
• Meet payroll targets with selling focus and appropriate coverage.
• Lead exceptional in-store customer experiences through selling behaviors and product knowledge.
• Train, coach, and motivate associates to improve selling and customer experience.
• Reinforce selling expectations, performance, and accountability.
