Job summary

rag & bone in Austin, TX is seeking an Assistant Manager to join the store leadership team. You will help drive customer experiences, coach supervisors and staff, and ensure smooth operations across operations, payroll, and scheduling.

You will lead by example in clienteling, product knowledge, and team development while partnering with Visual Merchandising to optimize displays and performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of prior work experience in specialty retail with 1+ years in a management role.
• Strong customer service and clienteling skills.
• Proven ability to coach and develop staff.

Responsibilities

• Deliver best-in-class customer service and build client loyalty.
• Train staff on store operations from register to stock room.
• Maintain cash handling and register procedures.
• Oversee payroll procedures and store scheduling.
• Coach and develop retail associates to meet store goals.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and develop staff.
• Analyze sales data to inform strategies and goals.
• Collaborate with Visual Merchandising and Buying on product displays.
