Job summary

Total Wine & More in Minnesota is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to grow the brand by delivering best-in-class service and creating a distinctive world of beverages for customers. You will report to the Store Manager and drive sales while building a profitable, service-focused store culture.

You will recruit, train, and lead a sales-driven team, oversee payroll and inventory, and maintain strong vendor relationships. Compliance with alcohol laws and a welcoming environment are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years in a managerial or supervisory role in retail.
• Experience leading a sales-focused team.
• Familiarity with POS systems and inventory software.
• Able to work evenings and weekends.
• Must be 21 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting, training, and leading store team.
• Support daily operations including payroll and inventory.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by leading by example.
• Maintain vendor relationships to support objectives.
• Ensure compliance with alcohol-sale laws and safety policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
