Lidl US in New York is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to collaborate with the Store Manager, coach the team, and drive exceptional customer service. You will lead daily operations, merchandizing, and KPI initiatives to deliver Lidl’s high standards of value and convenience.

The role requires 1–2 years of management experience or a bachelor’s degree, plus the ability to lift 50 pounds and obtain ServSafe certification. A strong leader with a hands-on approach is ideal.

Qualifications

• 21+ years old minimum.
• 1–2 years of management experience or a bachelor’s degree.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and reach above 10 inches.
• ServSafe certification required or obtainable.
• Willingness to participate in physical store operations daily.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the team to reach full potential daily.
• Provide exceptional customer service and be the store's primary contact for customers.
• Monitor and drive improvement of store KPIs.
• Lead weekly promotional sets and routine re-merchandising projects.
• Support cash handling, stock, cleaning and other store tasks as needed.
• Maintain a safe, positive and productive work environment per policies.
