Job summary

Dollar Tree in Racine, Wisconsin is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run daily store operations, support customer service, and develop the team. You will assist with opening/closing, merchandising, scheduling, cash handling, and adherence to company policies while promoting a positive, safe environment.

This part-time role offers exposure to a fast-paced retail environment and opportunities to grow with the company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties as listed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures, displays, and overall storefront appearance.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll/scheduling, cash handling, and loss prevention.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
