Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Wisconsin to support store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with daily activities, help customers, organize merchandise, and ensure store standards are met.

The role emphasizes strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to train and develop Store Associates in a fast-paced retail environment. This is a part-time position with opportunities to contribute to store performance and customer

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical store duties.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional effectiveness of store fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, and deposits.
• Maintain neat, well-stocked sales floor and stockroom.
• Protect and secure store assets including cash.
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines and train/store associates.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
