Job summary

Dollar Treeis seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development in Beloit, WI. You will assist with daily store activities, help customers courteously, and ensure merchandise flow from delivery to sales floor while maintaining displays.

Responsibilities include opening/closing procedures, participating in directives, payroll/scheduling, loss prevention, and training Store Associates to uphold safety and professionalism.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Retail, grocery, or drug store store management experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and answer questions.
• Help organize merchandise transfer from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, cashier deposits.
• Maintain clean, stocked, and organized store areas to company standards.
• Protect company assets, including store cash, and follow safety policies.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Foster a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
