Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Store management experience in retail preferred.
• Able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Excellent customer service and organization skills.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Move merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process directives and manage store communications and security tasks.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and processing damaged goods, payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits/receipts.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked sales floor and stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets and follow safety policies.
• Help supervise, train, and develop store associates.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
