Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development at our Muskego, Wisconsin location.

You will assist with day-to-day store activities, help customers, organize merchandise, and support the Store Manager in training and supervising associates.

This role requires a high school diploma, strong communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to lift up to 55 lbs, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills are required
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills required

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns
• Assist in organizing merchandise and transferring stock from delivery to sales floor
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed
• Maintain promotional effectiveness of fixtures and displays
• Assist in payroll, scheduling, and cash handling, and loss prevention
