Job summary

ALDI USA in the United States is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help supervise day-to-day store operations, manage schedules, and implement action plans to improve performance and customer service.

You will mentor teammates, oversee inventory procedures, ensure signage and price accuracy, and maintain safety and cleanliness standards while supporting the store leader. Starting wage is $26.00 per hour with a raise to $27.00 in year two, and full-time benefits are included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in a retail environment.
• Prior management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the direct leader with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results.
• Establishes and communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports.
• Identifies training opportunities to improve performance of the team.
• Models company values and maintains a teamwork-focused environment.
• Monitors competitive environment and advises adjustments to maintain position.
• Participates in interviewing store personnel and manages cash control policies.
