Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, supervise teams, and drive performance. The role involves scheduling, training opportunities, and adherence to company policies to ensure service excellence.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, manage inventory and cash controls, and participate in hiring, with a starting wage of $27.00 per hour and a scheduled increase to $28.00 in Year 2.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in a retail environment.
• Prior management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with supervising day-to-day store activities and developing action plans to improve operating results.
• Establish and communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports.
• Identify training opportunities to develop team performance.
• Ensure store signage, cleanliness, and product freshness.
• Oversee inventory procedures, cash control, and loss prevention.
• Participate in interviewing store personnel and onboarding.
