Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Paso Robles, CA to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, and store operations. You will lead the team in delivering exceptional service to retail and professional customers and ensure efficient store performance during shifts.

The role involves coaching team members, assisting in hiring, scheduling, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification are required.
• Certified Parts Professional Certification and ASE Certification are desirable.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom and ensure staff execution of customer service programs.
• Coordinate staffing for peak hours and manage scheduling with the store manager.
• Assist in hiring by conducting interviews and coordinating with management to select qualified candidates.
• Ensure phones are answered per policy and oversee order processing including buy online/ship to store and transfers.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Maintain compliance with schedules, security, and store policies.
• Perform opening/closing duties and bank deposits as required.
• Support store maintenance and delivery vehicle readiness.
