Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead a ~10-person store leadership team, oversee all departments, and ensure safe, efficient operations. You’ll drive sales, coach staff, and uphold Sprouts standards across perishable and non-perishable areas.

You will manage inventory, labor, and expenses, report to the Store Manager in their absence, and maintain top-tier customer service. A strong focus on safety, compliance, and leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent; degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of retail experience.
• Proven leadership of perishable and non-perishable departments with P&L and inventory control.
• Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic accounting/software tools.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Food Safety certification maintained.

Responsibilities

• Direct all store operations to drive sales and efficiency.
• Lead a team of about ten department managers and receivers.
• Maintain safety, labeling, health, and sanitation standards.
• Oversee inventory, labor, and expenses to meet targets.
• Ensure excellent customer service and store presentation.
• Mentor leaders, address emergencies, and manage communication.
• Oversee invoicing, backroom organization, and displays.
• Enforce compliance with laws and company policies.
