Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to direct all store operations, drive sales, and mentor a team of approximately ten Department Managers and Receivers. The role emphasizes leadership, customer service excellence, and adherence to safety and company standards to deliver strong performance in a fast-paced environment.

You will oversee inventory, pricing, and promotional execution while maintaining compliance with safety, labeling, and weight/measure standards.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent, a degree in business management, marketing, retailing, communications, advertising, or related field preferred.
• 1-3 years of retail experience; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated success leading non-perishable and perishable department operations with integrity, including profit and loss, safety, staffing, training, and inventory management.
• Professional communication skills, both written and verbal, detail-oriented and solution-focused.

Responsibilities

• Direct all store operations and drive sales and efficiency.
• Lead a team of approximately ten people (Department Managers and Receivers).
• Motivate and develop the management team, embrace Sprouts leadership behaviors, and coach staff.
• Ensure customer service excellence and safety/compliance in all store areas.
• Oversee inventory management, pricing, shrink, and promotions to meet targets.
