Clarks is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our team in Grand Prairie, TX. You will partner with store leadership to drive a strong sales culture and performance, support a team selling environment, and participate in recruitment and training of associates.

You will coach staff to meet ambitious goals, ensure proper staffing levels, and handle employee relations in the Store Manager's absence while contributing to merchandising and safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• Retail experience required.
• Prior management experience required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with store leadership to drive a culture of sales and performance.
• Support a team selling environment.
• Participate in store recruitment and onboarding.
• Teach, coach and train associates within set timeframes.
• Set reachable, high goals for yourself and staff while ensuring adequate staffing.
• Oversee employee relations in the Store Manager's absence.
• Analyze P&L to guide decisions.
• Lead change initiatives and champion company programs.
• Ensure merchandise is displayed per policy and maintains store safety.
