Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager across sales, service, store appearance and operations. You will lead a team, handle customer issues, and manage shifts when the manager is absent.

Qualifications

• Required: Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification
• Desired: Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and ensure staffing during peak hours.
• Assist in setting team goals, coaching, and ensuring training is current.
• Assist in recruiting tasks, interviewing, and selecting qualified team members.
• Ensure calls are answered per policy and orders are processed timely.
• Oversee transfers, special orders, returns, and accurate invoicing before shipping.
• Ensure adherence to schedules and proper security and opening/closing duties.
