Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. You will lead the store team during the Manager's absence, drive exceptional customer service, and help manage staffing and training to meet peak demand.

You will coordinate with management on recruiting, ensure processes for shipments and transfers, and uphold company policies and security procedures.

Qualifications

• Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification are required.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom and ensure staffing during peak hours.
• Assist the store manager in setting team goals, coaching members, and ensuring training keeps current.
• Assist in recruiting tasks, interviewing, and selecting qualified team members.
• Ensure all buy online/ship to store, hub and store transfers are processed timely and customers are contacted on shipment arrivals.
• Ensure returns, exchanges, and refunds are processed efficiently and correctly.
