Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, service, and store operations. You will lead the store team, drive customer satisfaction, and step in during the Store Manager’s absence.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply and contribute to a high-performing retail environment. You will assist with hiring, coaching, scheduling, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, including opening/closing duties and security.

Qualifications

• Must have Sales Specialist Training and Assistant Manager Certification; RSS Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
• Experience leading customer service teams in a retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels at the retail showroom and ensure staff follow programs (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot).
• Assist the store manager with staffing, goal setting, coaching, and training progression.
• Participate in recruiting tasks and interview candidates with management to hire qualified staff.
• Ensure timely processing of buy online/ship to store, transfers, and DC add orders; notify customers on shipment arrivals.
