The Watkins store is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support day-to-day operations while delivering friendly, honest customer service. You will assist the Store Manager in supervising staff, driving sales, and maintaining standards to ensure a profitable store environment.

Responsibilities include leading a team, managing scheduling, training staff, merchandising, and maintaining strong cash controls.

• Previous retail experience preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsabilités

• Lead store operations in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Supervise staff through training, coaching, and feedback.
• Motivate employees to achieve shared goals and maintain a positive environment.
• Create and manage store schedules.
• Oversee staff meetings and training sessions as needed.
• Maintain strong communication with the Store Manager and General C-Store Manager.
• Recruit, interview, hire, train, and coach current and future staff.
• Ensure proper cash handling procedures and FIFO inventory practices.
• Deliver excellent customer service and resolve complaints promptly.
• Drive sales through merchandising and promotional activities.
• Ensure shelves are stocked, priced, and displayed correctly.
• Monitor cash over/shorts and daily paperwork.
