Wallis Companies seeks an Assistant Manager to deliver exceptional customer service and lead a sales team in a busy store environment. You will support development, training, and supervision of staff and take on managerial duties when the Store Manager is away.

The role requires a strong work ethic, ability to handle long irregular hours, and adherence to SOPs, safety policies, and company standards while maintaining excellent customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year convenience store experience required.
• Ability to read, write, speak English.
• Must be able to work irregular schedule, including 50+ hours per week and some evenings/weekends.

Responsabilités

• Provide customers with an exceptional buying experience.
• Assist in leadership, development and training of the team.
• Assume responsibility when Store Manager is absent.
• Schedule labor and ensure payroll accuracy.
• Operate the register and follow standard cash handling procedures.
• Follow safety policies and maintain store standards.
