Total Wine & More in McLean, VA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to grow the brand by delivering best-in-class service and a distinctive world of beverages for our customers. You will lead day-to-day operations and support store growth.

You will drive sales, lead a team, manage payroll, inventory, merchandising, and vendor relationships, and ensure a safe, compliant store environment while fostering a customer-focused culture.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of work experience in retail.
• 2+ years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Experience leading, motivating, and developing a sales-focused team.
• Familiarity with POS and inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and meet key performance metrics.
• Assist in recruiting, training, and developing store staff.
• Support payroll, inventory, merchandising and shrink control.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve issues.
• Maintain vendor relationships and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
