Total Wine & More in Reston, VA is seeking a Store Manager to lead day-to-day operations, drive sales, and build a customer-focused store culture. You will oversee payroll, inventory, merchandising, and staff development while ensuring compliance with alcohol regulations and safety standards.

The role requires a strong background in retail leadership, financial performance, and experience guiding a sales-focused team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field required or preferred.
• 5+ years of proven managerial or supervisory experience in retail.
• Experience leading a sales-focused team and developing staff.
• Experience managing overall financial performance and store profitability.
• Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and deliver against key performance metrics (KPMs).
• Recruit, train, and manage store team, including ongoing development and disciplinary action.
• Manage day-to-day operations, including payroll, inventory, merchandising and shrink.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by leading by example and resolving issues.
• Maintain vendor relationships to support store and inventory objectives.
• Ensure adherence to laws related to sale of alcohol and maintain a safe store environment.
