Total Wine & More is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to drive sales and lead a customer-focused team. You will oversee daily store operations, payroll, inventory, and vendor relationships to meet profitability goals, while ensuring compliance with alcohol regulations.

This role emphasizes training, coaching, and building product knowledge across staff. Qualified candidates have 1–3 years in retail with supervisory experience, familiarity with POS systems, and a willingness to work evenings

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years of work experience, 2+ years of managerial or supervisory retail experience.
• Experience leading, motivating, and developing a sales-focused team.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Responsabilités

• Drive sales and deliver against key performance metrics (KPMs).
• Assist in recruiting, training, and leading store team, including ongoing development.
• Support day-to-day operations, including payroll, inventory, merchandising and shrink.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by leading by example and resolving customer issues.
• Help maintain vendor relationships to support store and inventory objectives.
• Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol and maintain a safe store environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
