Job summary

HOKA in New York is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to partner with the Store Manager in driving sales, customer service, and branding initiatives. You will lead daily operations, train and coach team members, manage scheduling, inventory and loss prevention, and ensure visual standards align with brand directives while maintaining a high-energy customer experience.

You will also recruit, onboard, and develop staff to build a high-performing team that embodies the HOKA values and delivers

Qualifications

Two to four years minimum retail store management experience preferred.
Excellent communication skills and ability to convey the HOKA and Deckers Brands Vision and Mission to your team and customers.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to coordinate people, resources, and services in order to address business goals and needs.
Fantastic problem-solving skills and ability to work through challenges.
Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Drive and own key store goals including sales, conversion, NPS, and customer capture.
Set targets and motivate team members to achieve goals within each shift.
Ensure operational excellence in all aspects of the business and prioritize programs that enhance the customer journey. You take responsibility for the day-to-day operations, including training, visual merchandising, opening/closing, asset security, labor scheduling, inventory and cash controls, and acting as Manager on Duty in the Store Manager’s absence.
