Famous Footwear in Livonia, MI is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Store Manager to lead the team when the Store Manager is away and deliver an outstanding customer experience. You will drive sales, coach associates, and ensure store operations run smoothly in a fast-paced retail environment.

You love shoes, stay informed on trends, and help the team present products confidently. This role emphasizes leadership, coaching, and delivering the Famous Footwear experience to every guest.

Qualifications

• Has a High School Diploma/GED.
• Has at least 1 year of sales experience, preferably retail.
• Experience in interviewing, hiring and training people.
• Ability to lead, manage, motivate, and communicate with associates.
• Ability to train and develop associates to deliver a great customer experience.
• Strong problem solving and numerical analysis skills.
• Flexible schedule including holidays, nights, weekends, and extended hours.

Responsibilities
