Caleres seeks a full-time Assistant Store Manager in Howell, MI to lead the store in the Store Manager's absence, drive sales, and deliver the Famous Feeling to every guest.

You will coach a team, manage daily operations, staffing, pricing, inventory, and compliance while upholding our standards and supporting education across the store. You love shoes and inspire engagement, helping associates grow and customers leave with confidence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of sales experience preferred, retail is a plus.
• Ability to lead, hire, train, and develop associates.
• Strong communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
• Flexible schedule including holidays, nights, weekends.

Responsabilités

• Inspire the customer connection and coach selling behaviors.
• Assist in talent discovery, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Ace retail operations including pricing, shipping, and inventory.
• Leverage insights to drive store performance and goals.
• Build a positive culture and support Store Manager as right hand.
