Famous Footwear is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead the team in the absence of the Store Manager. You will motivate staff, drive sales, coach associates, and ensure a top‑notch customer experience across our family of brands.

You will manage daily operations and help develop talent in a fast paced retail environment. As a people leader, you’ll train and empower your team, maintain store presentation, and uphold company standards while fostering an inclusive, high‑energy culture.

Qualifikationen

• Has a High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of sales experience (retail preferred).
• Experience in interviewing, hiring, and training people.
• Ability to lead, manage, motivate, and communicate with store Associates.
• Demonstrates ability to train and develop Associates to provide an engaging customer experience.
• Flexibility to work holidays, nights, weekends, and extended hours.

• Inspire the Customer Connection and foster a caring, service‑driven store culture.
• Champion talent discovery and assist Store Manager with hiring.
• Lead retail operations including pricing, shipping, inventory, and standards.
• Drive store performance by applying insights to sales goals.

• Act as Store Manager’s right hand when needed and ensure policy compliance.
