Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help with store operations, customer service, and team development at our Boonville location.

You will assist with day-to-day store activities, supervise associates, and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for customers. The role involves opening and closing procedures, organizing merchandise, maintaining displays, handling payroll and scheduling tasks, and collaborating with the Store Manager to drive sales and standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in retail store management is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store activities communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and loss prevention.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked store areas and secure assets.
• Ensure policy compliance and supervise/train store associates.
• Maintain a safe, respectful environment for customers and staff.
