Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run daily store operations, support customer service, and develop the team. You will help with merchandising, opening/closing, and ensuring store standards while fostering a friendly environment.

You will work closely with the Store Manager, train associates, manage basic scheduling and inventory tasks, and uphold safety and policy guidelines. The role requires a willingness to lead by example and to deliver positive, efficient

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and meet demands of frequent walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address any questions or concerns.
• Help organize, and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
