Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development in a high-energy retail environment. You will assist with opening/closing, merchandising, scheduling, and loss prevention while maintaining a clean, safe store and positive staff interactions.

The role emphasizes leadership, training, and ensuring policies are followed, with focus on delivering excellent customer experiences and efficient daily store functioning.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as part of daily duties.

Responsabilités

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communicate related store activities.
• Maintain store-front fixtures, displays, and promotional effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, payroll, scheduling, deposits, and loss prevention.
• Keep store areas well stocked and organized per company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including cash.
• Ensure adherence to policies, safety guidelines, and procedures.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Restock bathrooms, sweep, mop floors, take out trash, and keep areas neat.
