James Avery Artisan Jewelry is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for our Broadway Square Mall location in Tyler, TX. This is a full-time hourly management role focused on customer experience, team leadership, and profitable store operations.

You will support the Store Manager in building a visitor-friendly, brand-aligned environment, developing staff, and driving in-store sales growth through effective leadership and engaging service.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent, plus retail experience.
• Demonstrated customer service excellence and relationship building.
• Ability to delegate and provide constructive feedback.
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and written/verbal communication.
• Capability to build cross-functional partnerships.

Responsabilités

• Support Store Manager to cultivate a positive work environment.
• Assist with recruiting, hiring, and employee training.
• Act as brand ambassador and develop key relationships in-store and in the community.
• Assist with inventory, scheduling, payroll, and store budgeting to increase profitability.
• Lead by example, follow policies, and seek ways to improve efficiency.
• Be the sales leader on the floor and build customer relationships to drive revenue.
• Facilitate training, ensure clean, organized store, and analyze sales KPIs.
• Resolve customer concerns promptly and maintain checkout efficiency.
• Support HR matters in partnership with the Store Manager.
• Collaborate across teams to foster trust and plan events/promotions.
