Job summary

Lids Sports Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for our Culver City location. You will lead daily store operations, drive sales, deliver exceptional customer service, and train team members on product knowledge and procedures.

The role requires strong leadership, the ability to manage schedules, and adherence to store policies. This position offers opportunities for growth within a fast-paced, retail environment.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to drive sales while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work unsupervised and make decisions on shift.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues or customer complaints when the Store Manager is absent.
• Lead store associates through LIDS Training Programs and set goals for sales and tasks.
• Administer progressive discipline with verbal and written warnings when the Store Manager is not present.
• Foster a respectful, inclusive team environment and uphold Brand Standards.
• Schedule and staff the store, including calling in associates during peaks.
• Open/close the store and manage cash handling and till accuracy.
• Support inventory counts, backroom organization, and VM/merchandising changes.
