Family Dollar in Monticello, Kentucky is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help with store operations, customer service and team development. The role involves assisting with daily store activities, guiding merchandise flow, and ensuring a safe, friendly shopping environment.

The position may be part-time with responsibilities including opening/closing procedures, staff supervision, and adherence to company policies.

Qualificações

• High school diploma preferred or equivalent.
• Store management experience in retail or grocery environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional effectiveness of fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and loss prevention tasks.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures and ensure staff compliance.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train and develop Store Associates.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
