Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Kentucky to help oversee store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, organize merchandise, and ensure displays stay current.

Responsibilities include opening/closing duties, payroll support, and loss prevention while maintaining a safe, friendly work environment for staff and customers alike.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Store management experience in retail preferred.
• Lift up to 55 lbs; endure standing and walking.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Teamwork and problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers with questions in a positive, approachable manner.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain fixtures and displays for promotional effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and processing damaged items; payroll and scheduling.
• Maintain clean, stocked sales floor and stockroom to standards.
• Protect assets and cash handling; ensure policies are followed.
• Help supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
