Job summary

Five Below in Minnesota is seeking a Store Manager on Duty to lead daily store operations, ensure excellent customer service, and manage inventory and promotions. The role requires coordinating opening/closing procedures, supervising associates, and executing merchandising plans.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of management experience, strong verbal and written communication, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the receiving, unpacking, and organizing of new stock to ensure items are quickly and efficiently placed on the sales floor.
• Manages the setup and maintenance of displays for specific store sections, ensuring signage is accurate and promotions are properly highlighted.
• Manages the entire process of opening or closing the store, including securing cash, locking doors, setting alarms, and ensuring smooth daily operations.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, taking full responsibility for store operations, staff management, customer service, and urgent issues.
• Helps oversee daily activities of all store associates, ensuring they perform duties effectively and provide excellent customer service.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates on store policies and procedures.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses by optimizing merchandising, staff performance, and customer service.
• Executes the market plan by arranging products and signage according to corporate guidelines.
• Ensures execution of Inventory Integrity process.
