ALDI USA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the direct leader in daily store operations and performance. You will help supervise staff, develop action plans, manage schedules, and implement training to grow the team.

The role emphasizes adherence to company policies, cash controls, inventory guidelines, and customer service excellence. Candidates should be 18+, with at least 3 years in retail and prior supervisory experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in a retail environment.
• Prior management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists the direct leader with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results.
• Establishes and communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to their direct reports to ensure mutual understanding and desired results.
• Identifies training and development opportunities for direct reports to improve performance.
• Monitors the competitive environment and informs leadership of adjustments to maintain competitive position.
• Participates in interviewing store personnel and communicates information to the team.
