Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Frisco, TX to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with day-to-day activities, train store associates, organize merchandise, and ensure store standards and safety procedures are followed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns they may have.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives including Pull and Hold/Destroy, Task Compliance and other communications.
• Maintain promotional effectiveness of store-front fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record keeping (including payroll, scheduling, cash handling) and loss prevention.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to policies and procedures including safety guidelines and ensure associates follow them.
• Support the Store Manager in supervising, training, and developing Store Associates.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and presentable store environment.
