Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with day-to-day activities and help ensure a well-organized, welcoming store environment for customers and associates.

You will supervise and train Store Associates, uphold safety and company policies, manage merchandise flow from delivery to floor, and maintain clean, stocked aisles. This role requires strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Customer service, organizational and problem‑solving abilities expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store operations and day-to-day activities.
• Greet customers and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and stock merchandise on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process corporate directives and maintain displays.
• Assist in payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits; support loss prevention.
• Train and develop Store Associates; ensure a safe, respectful environment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the store.
